What We Do

Trout Fly Fishing

Based in the town of Eskdale in The Mitta Mitta Valley, our co-founder and guide, Scottie McPherson is perfectly located. The closest regional centre is Albury/Wodonga, which is about 45 minutes drive.

Surrounded by some of Australia's premier trout rivers and streams: The Kiewa, Mitta Mitta, Buckland Rivers and Nariel Creek to name a few. You will be fishing in beautiful trout streams and rivers in fantastic Australian bush settings.

We are also on the doorstep of a couple of very productive lakes as another option when the streams are high and dirty.

No matter what kind of location you are after, and regardless of your current proficiency, Scottie will make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Scottie has all of the equipment that you need for a day’s fly fishing.

Naturally, your overnight accommodation will be arranged to your preference as well as beautiful chef prepared meals to complete the perfect experience.

Scott is also a patient teacher for those just beginning, but also has the knowledge and skills to teach the experienced fly fisher a few tricks or just refine existing skills.

The Victorian 2018-2019 Trout Season opens from Saturday 1st of October 2018 and runs right through to the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend on 10th June 2019.

The most ideal times for fishing in the area are late October until early December and mid March until Mid April. These periods are when the weather conditions in the area are milder and more stable.
